Politics - Brown the hypocrite

Our eminent, son of the Manse Prime Minister Gordon Brown is throwing his hands up in horror that opposition Parties should benefit from leaks of politically uncomfortable material by civil servants. As some readers may recall, in December 2008 a Tory, Front Bench shadow minister was arrested by the Metropolitan Police for receiving just such a "leak" from the Immigration Department.

Plod subsequently. and without a warrant, searched the member's office in Parliament.

Mr Brown saw fit not to pass adverse comment about this illegal act of the Met Plods but he did comment extremely unfavorably about the behaviour of Members who pass on leaks. This despite the fact that he personally, in earlier years, benefitted hugely from such activities, as the clip below demonstrates.
