SOFT, STRONG AND NOW EASY-ON!

A REVOLUTION in non-latex condoms is under way with the launch of the new Durex Avanti Ultima condom, the first condom to be made of the synthetic polyisoprene polymer.

Avanti Ultima will be on the shelves in October and will replace the Durex Avanti condom as the non-latex condom in the Durex range. Durex’s non-latex condoms have been designed especially for those who have latex allergies.

Benefits of the polyisoprene material include strength, softness and stretchyness. Consumers have reported that the material feels like a second skin when worn.

Ruth Gresty, Durex senior brand manager, said: "The new Avanti Ultima gives ultimate comfort for the wearer!

"People who took part in tests said the material felt nice and soft and also said it felt like they weren’t wearing a condom, as 84% of those who tested the condom said the sensitivity was good, very good or excellent.

"The new condom also features the ‘easy on’ shape which improves the fit of the condom for increased comfort and 90% of testers said Avanti Ultima easy to put on."

Manufactured via a unique process, polyisoprene is a cleaner, softer and more versatile material that is free from latex allergens.

Avanti Ultima will be sold in pharmacies, grocery stores and supermarkets from October and will be available in packs of five and two.
